Site Manager (Rail)

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to work on projects covering South Wales. Our client is a main contractor and looking for site managers with NWR and SISS experience to join the team on a long term, ongoing project.

Location: South Wales

Role: Contract

Salary/Rate: Negotiable DOE

You will be responsible for:

• Working with senior project staff to oversee site teams on a day-to-day basis; inclusive of planning and allocating works, status reports and labour deployment
• Attending meetings and site visits
• Risk Assessments, method statements and Health & Safety on site
• Develop key relationships with internal colleagues, project management and the work force
• Reporting the progress of works
• Adhoc duties as required
   

For this role, you will need:

• Previous working experience as a Site Manager with Network Rail background
• Relevant qualifications
• Valid Sentinel PTS with a good working understanding of NWR rules and regulations, Health and safety etc
• Experience in site management
• Good Knowledge and experience of SISS
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent time management and the ability to work under pressure
