Site Operative Solutions Limited have an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager in Brentwood.

Job Title: Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager

Duration: Permanent

For this role, Surveyor would be undertaking the following duties:

Managing all commercial aspects of assigned projects, including procurement, valuations, change control, and final accounts
Ensuring accurate cost control, forecasting, and reporting
Working closely with Contract Managers, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
Identifying and implementing process improvements and commercial best practice
Supporting compliance with all regulatory and safety standards

All Managers / Surveyors on this project must have:

Proven experience within the construction industry, ideally in Passive Fire Protection, however this is not restricted, M&E or drylining would be the closest trade to Passive Fire Protection.
A background in quantity surveying or commercial management, ideally within the construction field.
Strong knowledge of contracts would help (JCT and/or NEC preferred)
Excellent commercial acumen and attention to detail
Strong communication and negotiation skills
A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
