Electrical Team Leader - Production  - East Kilbride

We are working with a very established and successful International business operating within the Water Treatment market. They are looking to add an Electrical Team Leader to their Production team. The role is a permanent position , offering a good package and potential overtime work. 

Job Duties:
 Assign electrical team members to work based on competency and availability.
 Manage and drive team members to ensure build is completed on‐time as per schedule and at the right
quality.
 Give build status updates and highlight any issues at daily production meeting including absenteeism,
delays, technical issues, etc.
 Ensure build hours are recorded daily and monitored against budgeted time.
 Ensure all products are built to the required specification and double checked and signed off before
leaving the electrical team.
 Ensure all production documentation is complete and accounted for in the job file before leaving the
electrical team.
 Update the status of build as required on the production schedule and notify test immediately on
completion.
 Manage and organise training to ensure team member competencies.
 Ensure key electrical production metrics are accurately recorded, evaluated and actioned for
improvement with the support of the production manager.
 Ensure your teams compliance with the company’s health and safety policies and act as a first aider
within the factory (training will be provided).
 Point contact for HR with your team for holidays, absenteeism etc. and manage accordingly with the
support of management and external HR.


Profile Skills and Qualifications:
 Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a production environment managing a team to meet deadlines and
objectives.
 Previous experience in electrical panel wiring and assembly is essential.
 An Electrical Qualification HNC or higher and or Apprenticeship is preferred.
 Excellent organizational and leaderships skills
 Strong decision‐making skills and have a results‐driven approach.
 First aid experience
 An energetic and enthusiastic self‐starter who hits the ground running and does not stop until our
objectives are achieved are critical success factors in this role.
